Nissan Qashqai 2013
Bought because wife very liked Qashqai design. Well, we thought price is not high, almost a jeep, lets take for her pleasure. We took the 1.2 version with all extras, brand new from dealer. Wife had pleasure for a week. The first repair at our expense, since guarantee is something else at dealers understanding. And so it was for 1,5 years, from which only 1 a week with joy.

This generation of Nissan Qashqai has been produced from January, 2013 to December, 2017. We can provide information about 10 modifications of this generation. 2013 Nissan Qashqai is available with four wheel (4x4) drive (2 versions) and front wheel drive (8 versions).
The new generation of the Qashqai started to be produced at the beginning of November 2013. Qashqai of the second generation is available only with 5-seater interior. The body is 47 mm longer, 20 mm wider and 15 mm lower than its predecessor. The 2014 Qashqai has specific curtains in the grille. They shut when the speed increases and regulate the airflow. When overheated, the curtains open to cool the overheated parts.
The interior is visibly transformed: modern design, classic and restrained colour scheme, and high quality decoration materials. Much work has been done by engineers to improve ergonomics. Buttons and switches are conveniently located, the instrument panel is perfectly readable. Even the seemingly imperceptible small details have been worked out. For example, the designers paid attention to such parameter as the depth of cupholders - now you can put a half-liter bottle in them so it won't interfere with the driver's elbow. The seats have been designed using the best practice from the aerospace industry to ensure a comfortable seating position and improved blood flow to the lower back. The rear layout has been extensively revised, increasing the space available on the seat sofa in all directions and increasing cargo capacity by 20 litres.
The multimedia screen has moved to the top of the front centre console and has been given far more functionality. The multimedia system now not only plays music from various carriers and shows the navigation map, but also works with online applications.
The electric power steering has received two modes - traditional and sports. Numerous electronic systems deserve special attention: automatic parking, intersection control systems, blind spot monitoring, all-around cameras, etc.
As the base engine on the 2013 Qashqai install gasoline turbo four DIG-T 1.2 litre 115 horsepower. An undoubted advantage of this motor is a low fuel consumption: according to the manufacturer, the appetite of this motor in the mixed cycle is only 5.6 litres per 100km. For the fans of dynamical driving there is a 2-liter capacity petrol unit with 141 horsepower in the engine range. Only one diesel engine - 1,6-liter 130 hp is offered.
An innovation in Qashqai 2014 is the system of remove of body fluctuation due to which the automobile keeps track of a condition of a covering of the road, its waves. Sensing them, electronics regulates work of the engine and brakes automatically.
On most equipped versions the electronics system monitors the blind spots in order to prevent an unexpected collision. And the modern LED headlights automatically switch to the right light.

Pros: I agree with what many say about this car - a very good price-quality ratio. For such car - high sitting position, sufficiently spacious, beautiful design, both internally and externally. A good standard equipment. Easy to handle, steering wheel is spinning very easily.
Cons: Very hard suspension, feels slightest hole. Bad picks up radio stations - receiver reinstalled, nothing changed. Radio station "alternate" function on wrong work - forcing radio stations ahead, beyond 3. channel doesn't work. If forces of other end, trapped for 6. station. The poor quality sound system - at basses. Incomplete Bluetooth system - sometimes mixes with phone. Incoming call does not display name of contact, only one number. Halogen passing very weak, poorly lit path. Cabin plastics rattles and door panels. Badly insulated archs, driving along a dirt road, very hears slightest little stone that hits arches, as well as driving through wet snow or puddles, it creates a lot of noise in lounge. Annoying headlamp washers - totally unnecessary extra, which only consumes window cleaning fluid, but taking advantage of it, lamp does not make any clean water as well as in winter snow freezes and consists of a layer of ice reducing visibility to lamps.
