The Nissan Qashqai is a compact crossover SUV produced by Nissan since 2006. It was developed by Nissan Design Europe and is one of the best-selling vehicles in its segment. The Qashqai, also known as the Nissan Dualis in Japan and Australia, combines the compact dimensions and economy of a hatchback with the elevated driving position and rugged looks of an SUV. It has undergone several design updates and generations, with the latest models offering advanced safety features and hybrid powertrains. The Qashqai is particularly popular in Europe, where it is manufactured.
First Generation (J10, 2007–2014)
The first generation Qashqai, known as the Nissan Dualis in Japan and Australia, was initially available in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. The vehicle offered a range of gasoline and diesel engines, catering to different markets and preferences. The first generation received a facelift in 2010, which included updates to the exterior design and the introduction of new technology features.
Second Generation (J11, 2014–2021)
The second generation of the Qashqai was launched in end of 2013, featuring significant improvements in design, technology, and efficiency. It introduced a more modern and aerodynamic exterior, with Nissan's signature V-motion grille and boomerang-shaped LED lights. The interior saw upgrades in materials and technology, including the NissanConnect infotainment system. This generation also marked the introduction of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, and emergency braking. The Qashqai continued to be offered in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants, with a variety of turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines. A facelift in 2017 brought further refinements, including a more upscale interior and enhanced safety features.
Third Generation (J12, 2021–Present)
The third generation, launched in 2021, represents a significant leap forward in terms of technology and efficiency. Built on the new CMF-C platform, the latest Qashqai features a more robust and dynamic design, with sharp lines, a floating roof, and a more aggressive front fascia. The interior is more spacious, with a focus on comfort and advanced technology, such as a larger infotainment display, digital instrument cluster, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This generation also introduced Nissan's e-POWER hybrid system, offering a more efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience. Safety has been further enhanced with ProPILOT with Navi-link, which provides semi-autonomous driving capabilities.

Pros: I agree with what many say about this car - a very good price-quality ratio. For such car - high sitting position, sufficiently spacious, beautiful design, both internally and externally. A good standard equipment. Easy to handle, steering wheel is spinning very easily.
Cons: Very hard suspension, feels slightest hole. Bad picks up radio stations - receiver reinstalled, nothing changed. Radio station "alternate" function on wrong work - forcing radio stations ahead, beyond 3. channel doesn't work. If forces of other end, trapped for 6. station. The poor quality sound system - at basses. Incomplete Bluetooth system - sometimes mixes with phone. Incoming call does not display name of contact, only one number. Halogen passing very weak, poorly lit path. Cabin plastics rattles and door panels. Badly insulated archs, driving along a dirt road, very hears slightest little stone that hits arches, as well as driving through wet snow or puddles, it creates a lot of noise in lounge. Annoying headlamp washers - totally unnecessary extra, which only consumes window cleaning fluid, but taking advantage of it, lamp does not make any clean water as well as in winter snow freezes and consists of a layer of ice reducing visibility to lamps.

Pros: For me, a flawless car, both technically and visually. I like the big, attractive steering wheel. The new Qashqai seems to have improved driveability thanks to Nissan's ride control system. The car body shakes less on rough roads when compared to the older models. Like lots of other things too - 360 camera, self-dimming mirror, split climate control, extreme braking.
Cons: As for the car's fuel consumption - as far as I understand, in the past the fuel consumption per 100km factory was determined by the NEDC protocol, which was basically the number that represents the lowest possible fuel consumption for your car. Now the new models sold are with the WLTP protocol, which has been measured in a wide variety of real-world usage conditions and can be said to be an average but much more realistic figure. I just want to say that blaming the factory doesn't make sense, but you have to try, test your own driving style and circumstances.

Pros: Excellent balance of suspension and very pleasant engine, very good readability and grip on the road. Economical, tested - 5.8 liters per 100km from Riga to Jurmala. However, everyday gasoline consumption is slightly different, as it also depends on driving style. Quiet, comfortable salon. Although I do not complain about the sound, I have a good tire Goodyear, then by 50% further reduce their slight noise. The sound system is good, it was possible to get an excellent audio system as well, but it was an optional extra.
Cons: Radio perception - There have been hitches, but there is no such thing as an unsolvable problem. A shark-type antenna further amplified their signal.

Pros: Bought because wife very liked Qashqai design. Well, we thought price is not high, almost a jeep, lets take for her pleasure. We took the 1.2 version with all extras, brand new from dealer. Wife had pleasure for a week. The first repair at our expense, since guarantee is something else at dealers understanding. And so it was for 1,5 years, from which only 1 a week with joy.
Cons: The quality of Qashqai limps because produced (all of which are traded on LV) in Russia. Now think yourselves or is it worth it. I gave car to another car dealer, no matter how hard he didnt wanted it. I know thet my white Qashqai is recently sold for third time in a row.

Pros: High sitting, see far away. High clearance. Other traffic participants respects car sinister appearance, even big SUVs perceive as their kind. Fuel consumption for FWD version is modest enough. Quiet, comfortable interior. Perfect car for city.
Cons: In particular, such a small petrol engine and transmission combination makes car unsuitable even for light offroad. In the parking lots, unprotected side doors from adjacent car door openers.

Pros: Nothing positive, very low quality, Nissan dealer couldn't solve problems
Cons: 2 x greater fuel consumption than manufacturer’ s stated. Rust on every door, low quality audio system, arch treatment - hears smallest rock, low quality colour and anti-rust treatment, also features an outdoor temperature sensor, replaced gear box, 2x painted, regulated, that's all new car!

Pros: Roomy interior and trunk only.
Cons: I never thought that buying a new car will get headache at times. Don't advise anyone to take a 1.2 litre version with 6-speed gear box. Well that we have to give her back to dealer, but already at a lower price. Nissan will no longer be my choice ever. A terrible quality and car.
