Pros: Good car. Visually beautiful. Small but compact, will fit tall dudes (the fifth one will have to make his own way). Can't complain about boot space. Excellent if you're a student, not too expensive to maintain. Parts are relatively cheap. I've only changed one bearing in 9 months. The 2-litre diesel is economical and reasonably peppy. I use it a lot as I work as a courier - no major problems. If you look after it regularly, it will last a long time, as with any car. Of the 4 cars I have owned at a fairly young age, this has definitely been the most reliable.
Cons: Incomprehensible electronics. Rust will do its work in time, but only around one arch for now. I'm 1.90m so it tends to be a bit tight, but I'm not complaining too much. Has become a bit sluggish due to turbine wear. Visibility is kind of the same, but you can get by.

Pros: Car compatibility on poor roads, perfect anti-skid system, reliability of car systems, comfortable seats, good looks. 5-cylinder engine sound and power. With a gas system (from 170000km), the fuel costs are similar to those of the D1.6 engine, but the power have not changed.
Cons: Low rack, Large window brackets for poor visibility at intersections, but security requires its own.

Pros: I have owned several cars, but now this car costs much, much cheaper than the Golf4.
Cons: The hub bearings at the front often need to be changed, the rest everything is o.k.
