Torque: 320 NM350 NM
Acceleration 0-100 km/h: 11.2 seconds9.6 seconds
Honda CR-V is a more dynamic driving.
Nissan X-Trail and Honda CR-V have the same engine power, but Nissan X-Trail torque is 30 NM less than Honda CR-V. Nissan X-Trail reaches 100 km/h speed 1.6 seconds later.

Fuel consumption

Fuel consumption (l/100km): 6.46.5
Nissan X-Trail consumes 0.1 litres less fuel per 100 km than the Honda CR-V, which means that by driving the Nissan X-Trail over 15,000 km in a year you can save 15 litres of fuel.

Drive type

Wheel drive type: 4x4 - AWD (all-wheel-drive)4x4 - AWD (all-wheel-drive)

Nissan X-Trail 2010: It has selectable four-wheel drive with Auto, 2WD and Lock modes. In Auto mode, it has front-wheel drive under normal conditions, the rear axle engages when the front wheels start to slip, and power is distributed variably up to 50:50 front to rear. In 2WD mode, the transfer clutch is permanently unlocked, but the electronic control unit can engage the rear wheels occasionally, for example during hard acceleration. In Lock mode, the transfer clutch is permanently locked, providing a constant 50:50 power distribution. When vehicle speed increases above 30 km/h (20 mph), it switches to Auto mode, but when speed decreases, it switches back to Lock mode. The system also switches to 2WD mode in the event of overheating.

Honda CR-V 2010: Car features Honda`s real-time four-wheel-drive system, which sends torque to the front wheels under normal conditions. A multi-plate clutch transfers torque to the rear axle when wheel slip is identified (pressure is provided to the clutch by a dual-pump system). To allow ABS to work seamlessly, the clutch is also disengaged during braking.

Ground clearance: 210 mm (8.3 inches)170 mm (6.7 inches)
Because of the higher ground clearance, Nissan X-Trail can perform better on bad roads - it can go over higher obstacles and bumps. At the same time, the higher ground clearance can reduce stability and handling on paved roads, especially at higher speeds.

Engines

Engine production duration: 14 years7 years
Engine spread: Installed on at least 10 other car models, including Nissan Qashqai, Renault Laguna, Renault Scenic, Opel VivaroInstalled on at least 2 other car models, including Honda Civic, Honda Accord
In general, the longer and for more car models an engine is produced, the better its serviceability and availability of spare parts. Nissan X-Trail might be a better choice in this respect.
Hydraulic tappets: yesno
The Nissan X-Trail engine has hydraulic tappets (lifters), providing quieter operation and no need for periodic adjustment, but they are more complex in design and can cause serious engine damage in case of failure.
Nissan X-Trail 2010 2.0 engine: The engine has a good power to fuel consumption ratio and, with careful maintenance, a long service life. The most common problems with these engines are with the fuel injection system and lubrication.

Honda CR-V 2010 2.2 engine: The Honda N22B diesel is generally considered a successful and durable engine. Its main weak points are connected with the fuel system, emissions components, cold-weather operation, and several intake and exhaust-related parts. One of the most frequent complaints concerns the injectors. Depending on the version, owners report problems with sensitive piezo injectors, while Bosch injectors themselves are usually ...  More about Honda CR-V 2010 2.2 engine

Dimensions
