Replacing Cabin Air Filter on Nissan Note
How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter on a Nissan Note
-
Unscrew three screws on the top and two screws on the bottom of the glovebox.
-
Gently pull the glovebox outward, wiggling it slightly up and down. Once removed, you'll have clear access to the cabin filter cover (a white panel).
-
Remove the ventilation damper from the glovebox by pressing in the two retaining tabs. This step makes reinstallation easier later.
-
Press the tab on the filter cover and pull out the bottom edge of the filter.
-
Slide the filter cover slightly downward, then pull out the entire filter. Be prepared for debris such as dry leaves and dust—having a vacuum nearby is recommended.
-
Replace the old cabin filter with a new one.
-
Reassemble everything in the reverse order.
-
Don’t forget to reattach the ventilation damper after reinstalling the glovebox.
