Nissan Note SRS error clear

Sometimes the SRS (airbag) warning light may stay on even after the issue has been resolved—for example, if the airbag connector was previously unplugged or the car was for a long time with the battery disconnected. To reset the light, follow this procedure:

1. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position (do not start the engine).

2. Wait exactly 7 seconds, then turn the key back to the OFF position.

3. Wait at least 3 seconds.

4. Repeat the ON–wait–OFF sequence two more times, always waiting at least 3 seconds between each cycle.

5. On the final cycle, start the engine.

The SRS warning light should now turn off.
