From 2WD to 4H (and back)
You can switch between 2WD and 4H at speeds up to 100 km/h, but only while driving in a straight line at a steady pace.
Do not engage 4H in the following situations:
-
While cornering
-

-
While decelerating
-
During gear changes
-
While reversing
-
If the rear wheels are spinning
Maximum allowed speed in this mode: 100 km/h.
From 4H to 4L (and back)
Shifting between 4H and 4L is allowed only when the vehicle is completely stopped, the brake pedal is pressed, and the transmission is in neutral (N).
Wait until the low-range indicator light stops flashing before moving.
Maximum allowed speed in 4H mode: 56 km/h.
Rear Differential Lock
The rear differential lock can be engaged only when the vehicle is stationary, the brake pedal is pressed, and the transmission is in neutral (N).
Wait until the locking indicator light stops flashing before driving.
Maximum allowed speed in Rear Differential Lock mode: 40 km/h.
Important Notes
4H, 4L, and the rear differential lock must not be used on hard, dry surfaces.
These modes are intended for use on snow, mud, ice, or similar low-traction conditions.
