The Honda CR-V, introduced in 1995, has undergone significant evolution across its generations, particularly from 2000 onwards. The second generation (2002-2006) featured a 2.0-liter petrol engine producing 150 HP and 192 Nm of torque. The third generation (2007-2011) offered a 2.4-liter engine with 166 HP, coupled with a five-speed automatic transmission. In the fourth generation (2012-2016), the CR-V maintained the 2.4-liter engine, now delivering 185 HP, and introduced a more refined interior. The fifth generation (2017-2022) marked the introduction of a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 190 HP and, for the first time, a hybrid powertrain combining a 2.0-liter engine with electric motors for a total output of 212 HP. The current sixth generation (2023-present) continues with the 1.5-liter turbo engine and an updated hybrid system, emphasizing improved fuel efficiency and advanced safety features.
In user reviews, the Honda CR-V is often commended for its spacious interior, comfortable ride, and reliability. However, some owners have reported issues with the automatic start/stop feature and the Collision Mitigation Braking System. Additionally, certain models have experienced engine oil dilution problems, leading to recalls and software updates to address these concerns.

Pros: The perfect balance between fuel economy, off-road capability and highway stability. Consumption on the track, if you keep the speed to 90 kmh, is around 6l/100, in the city it starts to burn 9l. Pulls through muddy forest roads and snow without problems. Reliable and easy to repair. Capacious, spacious and ergonomic. Diesel powerful enough and good torque.
Folding back the front seat to create a comfortable sofa.
Cons: Low beam too dim (halogen)
Rear seats do not retract into the floor - can not get a flat surface.
Terrain would require a higher one, but then stability is lost in turns. Better not crawl to hard off-road.
Differential requires special Honda oil.

Pros: Relatively good passability. Good running qualities (with a 6 at 100 acceleration is great). Huge (with seats folded) luggage space. Full spare wheel on tailgate. Hatch, cruise, folding picnic table, seat heating. Consumption 5.8-6.6 on tarmac with 6th gear at 100kmh. Average around 7.8. Interior warms up very quickly in winter (incredible for a diesel). This is my 9th car so far, not thinking of changing. Very good value for money.
Cons: The steering wheel adjusts only in the upright position. The windscreen and side windows get very smudged when entering a puddle at higher speeds. Must use only specifieded oils. Very sensitive to fuel quality.

Pros: The engine and all electronics operated all 5 years without any problems
Cons: Right windshield wiper (when viewed from driver's side) is not suitable for winter conditions, because it’ s stem is a very long spring, as a result of a lack of power to gum properly pressed against glass. If you're in winter as a result of above minus 10 degrees below zero, then right wiper just glides over dirt. I think about this problem, multiple times said in service and it was as though they tried to tighten in spring, but it failed to prevent problem, because that is constructive.

Pros: Reliable, surprisingly spacious, comfortable, functional, easily manipulated, sufficiently dynamic. 2. model plus that there is no middle console - you can navigate through all car. Fabulous picnic table - trunk floor. I don't know why new models do not see these "extras".
Cons: Fuel consumption, but if put in gas, then it is ok.

Pros: A reliable car. Lot of space in back benches. Precise steering wheel. Cool table in luggage compartment, good transparency within a radius of 360 degrees. Separately opened a door for luggage, easy access to spare wheel.
Cons: High centre of gravity, therefore not so stable on bends.

Pros: Durable running gear.
Cons: If equipped with additional gas unit, then you need to take into account that should be carried out every second year in valve adjustment, Japanese car, unlike German car valves shall be weak link, if use of gas.
