Pros: The car has a distinctive design with a beautiful wedge-shaped front and a rounded long rear. At the rear there are lamps with a downward sloping position and round lamps. It makes car look sad.
Comfortable high seats. Passengers can easily get in seats.
Good sound equipment
The automatic light and rain sensor works well.
The car is very dynamic and quickly picks up speed when overtaking.
Economical on the highway and in the city.
Spacious boot.
Cons: In the car cabin you feel like sitting in an elevated seat, but your feet are in a deep bowl. No other car has such a cabin. The cabin has 4 separate baths. This creates a cabin design with 4 seats because the second row has a high center console and the middle seat has each leg on its side. The trunk of the car is spacious, but is strangely planned. The base model lacks a double floor to hide everyday things and repair keys. Lowering the seats does not create a straight, smooth floor surface. Along the right edge is a peculiar mesh bag in which nothing can be arranged. I was forced to create my own design shelves for water bottles and little things.
The car has a cheap material instrument panel covered with a simple adhesive film. Radio and climate control is arranged in a bulky design panel. Its design does not meet modern standards. The on-board computer display is also small with controls on the end of the wiper lever. It is incomprehensible with small numbers and difficult to see because it is behind the steering wheel.
The displays have a one-tone night light in an unpleasant red color. During the day color is elegant green with black.
The car has quite loud engine and body noise.
On the road car is solid.
SEAT Altea XL is an everyday car with good equipment. It is a simple, cheap material car for work, it has no sense of elegance and on the road it will not surprise anyone.
