Citroen C3 Picasso is a compact MPV produced between 2008 and 2017, designed as a practical urban family vehicle. Built on PSA’s PF1 platform, it shared technical components with the Citroen C3 and Peugeot 207 but featured a taller body and boxier proportions to maximize interior space. The model was manufactured in Slovakia and targeted buyers seeking versatility in a compact footprint.

Engine options included 1.4- and 1.6-liter naturally aspirated petrol units, as well as turbocharged 1.2-liter PureTech petrol engines in later years. Diesel variants consisted mainly of 1.6-liter HDi engines known for fuel efficiency and solid torque delivery. Power outputs ranged from approximately 90 to 120 horsepower depending on version. Transmissions included 5-speed manual gearboxes and a 6-speed automated manual in selected markets. Suspension tuning focused on comfort, with a relatively soft setup to absorb uneven road surfaces.

A facelift in 2012 introduced updated front styling, LED daytime running lights, and revised interior trim. The cabin emphasized practicality, offering sliding and folding rear seats, numerous storage compartments, and good headroom due to the high roofline. Safety equipment included ABS, electronic stability control, multiple airbags, and optional parking sensors.

In user reviews, the Citroen C3 Picasso is frequently described as deceptively spacious and cleverly packaged. Owners often praise its upright seating position, excellent visibility, and flexible interior layout that adapts easily to family needs. Diesel engines are commonly highlighted for their economy and durability. On the other hand, some drivers mention noticeable body lean in corners, average cabin material quality, and limited engine performance when fully loaded. Overall, it is seen as a practical and comfort-oriented compact MPV rather than a driver-focused vehicle.
