Renault Megane reviews
Total 14 Renault Megane owner reviews
Pros: Very good handling, control and grip. Comfortable seating and good interior materials in relation to price. Enjoyable original audio system and navigation with good coverage. Visual design and rear lamps. The car attracts tremendous attention in the evening. For 115hp very perky.
Cons: Running gear is constantly very serious problem. It's just like living on warranty repairs, and it's just 23,000km on good on asphalt roads. Draw conclusions yourself.
Overall, everything that goes beyond normal maintenance up to 23,000km and within 2 years of purchase is listed as:
1) In all these new car lights (LEDs or halogen) wet condensation forms inside wet weather which reduces light efficiency and looks disgusting - Warranty claims it is normal, of course, nonsense. At least the moisture disappears completely within 1h when the drier time remains and no traces of moisture remain.
2) Installation of missing exhaust pipe mounting. (for a fee) The manufacturer does not install it directly on the sedans, but without it, the tailpipe runs over the air by knocking the bottom of the pan. Absurd action because the underside of the car is no different from the bottom of the caravan or hatchback that have this mount.
3) Adding fallen heat pan. To this problem I have added paragraph 2 on fastening. The pan was swept by the muffler.
4) Front lever change. For incomprehensible reasons, he cracked at any movement abnormally.
5) Changing the crankshaft pulse sensor. The car dropped on the road and worked with a terrible twitch without speed. Good luck, not at the moment of overtaking.
6) Replacing the interior (rear) lighting block. Lamps burned as a New Year's tree. The contacts were not even tightened. Weakness in all these auto- full internet.
7) Amber-light in the interior of the interior, which is in the door and panel. Unevenly burning and twitching. - The warranty is refused because you can't notice the problem exactly when they dash.
8) Regular electronic failures. For example, everything is ok, but then the music goes quiet, but shows that it sounds (radio, flash, etc.). You have to restart the car or turn on the car, but the computer itself does not turn on the screen. You have to restart the car again, because without even the air will not blow in the car.
9) Attaching the rear fog lamp. Inside the bumper is lying, but it has not been attached. Touching moves 1cm.
10) Rattling plastic body for the interior rear-view mirror. Catch a piece of paper inside to be stuck.
11) All car shock absorbers are some kind of dung. Abnormal rattle (still) changed by the guarantee 2 times, but the problem does not disappear because if the manure is replaced with the manure problem cannot disappear. When the air temperature is lower than +8 degrees, they work perfectly, but abnormally. Let's not talk about winter vsp, deaf remains in the saloon. : D (The problem for them is just rattling, which comes at a lower temperature than their power)
I'll drive leasing period and return the car back. :)
