Isuzu D-Max 2006 2.5 diesel service and maintenance

Engine oil

Oil change interval is 20,000 km or one year, whichever comes first.
Although the manufacturer accepts a longer oil change interval, we recommend changing the oil at least every 10,000 km or 12 months.

Air filter

Replacement interval for the air filter is 40,000 km.
After prolonged driving in particularly dusty conditions, it is advisable to check the condition of the air filter earlier and replace it if the filter is visibly dirty.

Gearbox oil change

Isuzu D-Max automatic transmission oil change interval is 120,000 km, the gearbox oil filter must also be changed at the same time as the oil.
Gearbox oil specification is Toyota ATF Type T-IV. Gearbox oil capacity is 8.3 litres (8.8 quarts).

Gearbox maintenance information is provided for Aisin AW30-40LE gearbox. Before servicing, make sure your car has this particular gearbox.

Cabin air filter

Cabin air filter change interval is 20,000 km.

Transfer case oil change

Transfer case oil change for Isuzu D-Max 2.5 is recommended every 40,000 km or 2 years.
